About Let's Be Green
Let's Be Green is a solar and battery retailer based in Seven Hills, in Sydney's west. We design, supply and install solar power systems and home battery storage for Australian households and businesses. We handle the whole job, from the first quote to the support you need after your system is switched on.
Most people want lower power bills without having to become solar experts. So we do the technical work, explain the parts that matter, and give you a written quote you can compare with any other.
Now a New Energy Tech Approved Seller
Let's Be Green is now an Approved Seller under the New Energy Tech Consumer Code (NETCC). The NETCC is a code of conduct authorised by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and administered by the Clean Energy Council. It builds on Australian Consumer Law and sets higher standards for businesses selling solar, batteries and other new energy products to homes and small businesses.
To become an Approved Seller, a retailer has to show the Code Administrator that it has the right processes in place. It must also keep meeting the Code's standards to stay on the program. For you, that covers how we sell as well as what happens after installation:
- Honest marketing and sales conduct, with no high-pressure tactics
- Quotes and contracts that spell out the system, price, any rebate or discount, and the expected timeframe
- Your cooling-off rights and other key information before you sign
- Warranty details and after-sales support in writing
- A set process for handling complaints if something goes wrong
You can read the Code, our Complaints Handling Policy and our Refund Policy from the links at the bottom of every page on this website. Approved Seller status is also a requirement for some state programs, including Victoria's Solar Homes program and the WA Residential Battery Scheme.
Solar battery systems, now part of what we do
We now design and install solar battery systems as well as solar panels. A battery stores the extra energy your panels produce during the day so you can use it in the evening, when grid electricity usually costs the most. Instead of exporting cheap power for a small feed-in tariff, you keep more of it for your own use.
We can add a battery to an existing solar system, or install solar and storage together as a hybrid solar system. Before recommending a size, we look at:
- your electricity bills
- when you use most of your power
- your roof space
- whether your current inverter is compatible
Bigger isn't always better, and we'll tell you if a smaller battery suits your household.
What we install

How we work
-
Every job starts with a conversation, not a sales script. One of our solar advisors asks about your power bills and how you use energy. They then put together a system design and a written quote. We buy panels, inverters and batteries from established suppliers, so your installation isn't held up waiting for parts.
-
On installation day, our installers fit, connect and test the system before handover. They then walk you through the monitoring app so you can see what your system is producing and storing. After that, we're still your first point of contact for warranty claims and questions.
